What if we miss a class?

We understand that life gets busy! We at The Little Gym Farnham operate a very flexible cancellation and make-up policy. There is no time limit on make-up classes. To cancel a class and store it as a credit on your account we need to be informed of your absence via email by 9am on the day of your scheduled class.

What can I do with the credits on my account?

Credits can be used to book additional classes during term time, drop-in classes during half terms and holidays and even towards holiday camps!

1 credit = 1 class

3 credits = 3 hour camp.

You must book all classes or camps using your credits in advance. Any bookings will be processed subject to availability.

What should my child wear?

There is no uniform at Little Gym Farnham, just come dressed for movement and fun! We recommend comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows your child to move freely and confidently during class.

For safety and the best experience in the gym, we do ask that everyone follows a few simple guidelines:

  • Barefoot only for children – This helps prevent slipping, reduces the risk of injury, and supports balance and natural development. Adults joining our parent & child classes should wear socks. (Exceptions can be made for medical reasons.)
  • No jewellery or watches – These should be removed before class to keep everyone safe during activities.
  • No food or hot drinks in the gym – Food and hot drinks are not permitted in the gym area to maintain gym cleanliness and safety standards. If you need a snack or drink, these can be enjoyed outside the gym in the lobby area. We do encourage children to bring a water bottle, which can be kept safely in a designated area inside the gym during class.

If you’re ever unsure, our team is always happy to help before your class.

Why is there an Annual Family Membership Fee?

At Little Gym Farnham, our Annual Family Membership supports a consistent, high-quality experience for every child and family who walks through our doors. It gives your family access to the full Little Gym experience, including priority booking, member benefits, and a welcoming community environment and the admin to ensure this is done efficiently.

By having a single annual membership per family, it keeps things simple and ensures that every child can enjoy the same standard of care, coaching, and fun all year round.

Can my child try a class before committing?

Absolutely, we’d love to welcome you in for a trial class at Little Gym Farnham!

A trial is the perfect way for both you and your child to experience everything we offer before joining. During the session, your child will take part in a full class, giving them the chance to explore the equipment, engage in our structured activities, and get a feel for the fun, supportive environment we create.

Our team will be there every step of the way to help your child settle in, especially if they’re feeling a little unsure at first. We know that every child is different, so we focus on making their first experience positive, pressure-free, and full of encouragement.

Trials are also a great opportunity for you as a parent to see how our programme works, ask any questions, and understand how we support your child’s development through gymnastics movement, confidence-building activities, and play.

If your child enjoys their trial (which they usually do!), we’ll guide you through the next steps to secure a space in a class that suits you.

Spaces for trials are limited and must be booked in advance so we recommend getting in touch with our team to find the best option for your child.

Is Little Gym Farnham a safe environment for my child?

Absolutely, creating a safe, supportive environment is at the heart of everything we do at Little Gym Farnham.

We are committed to providing a space where children can explore, learn, and grow with confidence, while parents feel reassured at every step. Our gym is specifically designed for children’s gymnastics, with age-appropriate equipment and structured progression to ensure skills are taught safely and effectively.

All of our team members are fully trained in The Little Gym curriculum, so every class is delivered consistently and with a clear focus on child development. In addition, our instructors are DBS checked, first aid trained, and fully trained in safeguarding, ensuring the highest standards of care and professionalism at all times.

We also maintain small classes so every child receives individual attention, encouragement, and support throughout their journey.

Your child’s safety, confidence, and enjoyment will always be our top priority.

What will my child learn at The Little Gym Farnham?

At Little Gym Farnham, we use gymnastics as a tool to support your child’s overall development, not just their physical skills. Our research-based curriculum uses structured play to nurture children physically, cognitively, and emotionally. Built around Three-Dimensional Learning, our programme develops the whole child, combining physical activity, cognitive development, and social skills. Alongside gymnastics skills developing balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility, children build confidence, focus, listening skills, and independence, promoting well-rounded growth.

Through progressive classes, children learn to follow instructions, take turns, solve problems, and interact positively with others, key skills that help them become school-ready and set strong foundations for the future. Imaginative play and creative movement also encourage curiosity and a love of learning. Most importantly, we celebrate every child’s individual journey. It’s not just about gymnastics, it’s about growing confident, capable children who are ready for what comes next.
